Felix Krengel

Felix is a biologist specializing in phytochemistry and plant tissue culture and currently doing his postgraduate studies at UNAM university in Mexico City. His research has focused on the biosynthesis of monoterpenoid indole alkaloids by mexican species of the Apocynaceae family, with particular interest in the production of ibogaine and voacangine using in vitro cell cultures.
