John Harrison, M.A., PsyD. (c)

John Harrison is a psychotherapist, workshop leader, writer, researcher, and lecturer exploring compassionate addiction treatment. He graduated with a BA in Psychology from U.C. Santa Cruz, and studied Clinical Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. He is the Founder-Director of Addiction Treatment Specialists in San Diego, California which offers a variety of modalities in the treatment of addiction, specifically utilizing the Harm Reduction model of treatment.

John has presented and discussed his work and research at numerous forums and seminars world wide. He has been a Zen Buddhist practitioner for three decades, and an advocate for a fair and just drug policy.
