Ann Moxey
Ann Moxey is Anglo Argentine and has lived in Mexico since 1988. She has lived and worked in several other countries. Before starting on the yoga path, Ann worked for over 25 years for well known European, American and Latin American broadcasters. She was a victim of chronic stress and adrenalin addiction. She graduated with Honours in Psychology from the United States International University of San Diego. She studied Bereavement Therapy and Specialized in Addiction Therapy at Monte Fenix, Mexico City. She’s a Certified Anusara Yoga teacher and a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists. She’s founder of Parinaama Yoga, the Yoga of Transformation, which proposes a change of paradigm regarding addictions to a more inclusive tantric model. She is president of the Parinaama Foundation AC which for the past 14 years has been offering weekly yoga, stress management and meditation sessions inside the prisons in Atlacholoaya, Morelos. This NGO taught the first Yoga Teacher Training inside a prison anywhere in the World. TED EX speaker in Morelia 2015, she has participated in the main Addiction Specialists Conferences and Yoga Encounters in Mexico. She trains teachers in Parinaama Yoga in Mexico and abroad. She has a yoga program on air called YOGA OF FREEDOM.
